In honor of my tax return-
Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I first read this in S.E. Hinton's "The Outsiders" and loved it!
I have this memorized...from the movie and the book, The Outsiders. Hahaha. But it's so true. We get our money and poof just like that it is gone. :(
