Wordless Wednesday, Thankfulness Project

Day 2, November 2nd, Wednesday.

I am thankful for "Purple Mountain Majesties"

The freedom that that implies

And growing up in the shadow of the towering Wasatch mountains.

What are YOU thankful for today?

Wordless Wednesday
My "costume" on Saturday before Halloween. I was a Virgin. (Don't be offended. Laugh instead. It's funny.) ****CLARIFICATION due to several confused emails. I didn't dress up- I just wore normal clothes and had a nametag that said "virgin" on it. I went to a halloween party as a VIRGIN. I have 4 kids. I most obviously am NOT a virgin. Don't break your brain. It's not worth it.*****
On the way to the party.
Teague, getting his shoes on on Halloween. My monkey in his monkey suit.
Scarlet as a scarecrow. (notice the awesome upcycled pants and shirt)
Mahone as "Obi Wan Kenobi"- He hates it, but I call him Mahoney Wan Kenobi.
Lilly ALSO as a Scarecrow.
On the actual Halloween DAY, I was an elf. Notice the ears? (well...ear?)
This is what Teague thought about Halloween.
On Halloween day, Lilly asked us why we celebrate Halloween. We told her. So, at every house, while my other kids shrieked "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!", Lilly shouted "Happy Samhain!" or "Happy Celtic new year!" She's the most awesome brand of nerd!
And THEN, Teague noticed that he gets candy...and then he was BEYOND happy.
It was hard work though, and he konked out half way through.
Tuesday morning we opened the door to this.

  2. Your photos are great; you and your kids are so adorable! I'm not sure I get the virgin reference or what I'm supposed to laugh at - I thought you meant Rocky Horror Picture Show virgin at first and thought to myself "Yep, she's underdressed!" but I don't think that was the case.

I have a special place in my heart for rear-view mirror photos, and have a few of my own stashed away for later :)

    Happy WW!
