So, I like to read. Like, I like to read A LOT. You have read about my music obsession? Books are a BIGGER obsession of mine. 

Now a days, with little time to spare, I usually "read" my books by listening to them on audio. However, about a month ago, I was offered the chance to read and review a children's novel called "The Magic Warble." Of course, I was super excited. Not only do I love to read, but I love to read to my children. 

Having read such books as this before, I was sure this would be a great one to share with them. 

And I was right. 

The Magic Warble is a children's novel which follows a young girl, who feels lonely and like a bit of an outcast in her real life, as she enters a magical world as "the chosen one" to save the land from an evil  queen who has spread her poisonous touch over everyone and everything. She makes friends of fairies, gnomes, dwarves, talking animals, and a handsome prince.  

My kids looked forward to reading this book every night before bed, and often would ask to read "just one more chapter."

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read to their kids. I have to be honest, I didn't really feel like it was something that an adult would enjoy very much just reading on their own, but my kids really loved it, including my  5 1/2 year old son, who rarely can sit still for a whole chapter of a book.  The plot is adventurous and exciting, but simple enough for a child to follow easily, and, the language isn't too difficult for children to understand either. You can tell the author knows kids well!
